Product Description Legendary performance. 100% Tournament legal.
Created with precision and accuracy in mind, the FPS Freek is our flagship accessory. Fueled by our desire to win, the FPS Freek was developed for the sole purpose of becoming better at first-person shooters. The result has become somewhat of a legend. Proven a winner time and time again, the FPS Freek has been praised by numerous professionals, enthusiasts and n00bs alike.
By increasing the length of the thumb-sticks slightly, precision while aiming is improved dramatically. Your range of motion is increased by 40%, giving you the opportunity to make smaller adjustments and "snap" to targets much faster in first-person shooters. This affords you the luxury of turning up controller sensitivities to get the closest feel to a mouse possible on a console. The greater leverage offers you better control and less force-alleviating thumb-fatigue and adding more comfort to long gaming sessions. In short, this increased accuracy and decreased thumb-fatigue results in more kills and less deaths.
In the competitive world of online gaming, you'd be crazy to play without the FPS Freek!
FPS Freek is designed to fit both the PS3 and Xbox 360 controllers but will also fit many third-party versions.
Works great in games like:
* Modern Warfare 2
* Battlefield: Bad Company 2
* Call of Duty: Black Ops
* Halo: Reach
* Medal of Honor

| Customer Reviews: Very Good September 9, 2010 dres It does help my aiming much more, I do suggest not putting both on if you dropshot, just put on your right analog stick.
gotta get you some!!! September 5, 2010 S. Obrien (arizona) I bought these at a local game store for 15.00. I have had my eye on them for at least 5 months but never felt like dropping the cash on such a little piece of plastic. When I finally did drop the money on them I was somewhat blown away by the difference they make. It really is quit insane how just a little length added to the analog sticks would change the way you play a FPS. My kills drastically improved in Rainbow Six Vegas (yes people still play it) and it didn't hurt my game play on Bad Company 2 either. I tend to play online for about 8 hours a day (I know I don't have a life) and I have had them for about 3 weeks or less. With that said one of the pads have started to peel in the center; it is just a very thin layer and it hasn't bothered me a bit.
I have 2 controllers so I transferred them over to my other while the dead one was charging. When I did that I noticed that the analog stick on the controller was indented where the fps freeks where so because of this I would suggest buying a pair for each controller you own or you could wear out the padding on the controller to the point that they will not stay on tight.
All in all this was a very good investment; I wouldn't try to kill anyone without them.
Pull the trigger, they're worth the money September 1, 2010 austin y. It's easy to be skeptical about the fps freeks, but they have totally been working for me. They weren't difficult to put on, and within an hour or so I was used to using them. My accuracy hasn't been affected much, but my kill death ratio on MW2 has been steadily rising. The fps freeks have given me more control, and have made high controller sensitivities more comfortable and easier to manage. It's easier now to make fine movements, but also easier to accurately stop your rotation on a target (when rotating quickly).
I have no complaints; I'm sure you'll enjoy them too.
Pleased August 28, 2010 heavyc I've had the FPS Freek for roughly a month now. I have poor hand and eye coordination but love playing video games. I normally play with the game on the lowest sensitivity settings so that I can aim better. These helped me even more. Although i also bought a controller with thumb sensitivity built which made these inadequate. Plus the layout of the controller made it hard to push some of the buttons. But on the standard Microsoft Xbox 360 controller these were great. I bring them with me to tourneys.
So my only problem with it is that it doesn't work well on my new controller but that's my fault for getting a turbo controller lol.
Skeptical, but pleased. August 26, 2010 ThreeThumbGamer At first I was skeptical about this product, and figured if I didn't like them I could give them as a hand me down to my nephew. I am keeping these (Kontrol Freek).
The very first game I played with them was MW2. I was thrown into a game of Hard Core Team Deathmatch in the last 45 secs. of the round. I was surrounded, and panicky. I was able to react quickly and effectively, and get a 4 kill streak with no deaths. In short, what I am saying is that these felt like an organic extension of the controller, and had no learning curve to use effectively.
I often snipe, and run around the map with a striker in MW2. There is no hindered function in my aiming at close quarters, and better accuracy at long to extreme long range.
In Halo 3 I always had problems following moving enemies with the snipe, or being able to put the reticule over the small dot that was the face of the adversary. I always had a jerky motion. This is probably due to the fact that I have my sensitivity set to "insane", but with the Kontrol Freeks I have a smooth swipe across my line of sight. The only problem I have on Halo with this product is that it feels as if the face buttons are too far away now, but this is something that I feel I can easily adapt to.
Like I said before, the Kontrol Freeks feel like an organic extension to my existing thumbsticks. They feel very solid, and like an official Xbox accessory. They were very easy to attach, and do not interfere with the range of movement for the sticks. The grip on the Kontrol Freeks also have a better grip than the standard thumbsticks on the controller. I would say that the grip on the Kontrol Freeks also far surpass the PS3 controller's. I do not own a PS3, but have played on one several times at my friends place.
Overall a very solid item, but I feel as if $10 is asking a little much.
