I bought this item tired of destroying beautiful handcrafted pens. It works fine and delivers. I've been using it for a while and it has consistently produced the expected results. Sometimes the screw that holds the shaft with plastic rod doesn't tight it well and the whole product moves backwards when the lever is used. Just re-tight it up again with a little more force. Another thing is that it does not come with instructions on how to use it. I found two metal rods in the box and I didn't know what they were for until I got into the Grizzly website and I saw a small comment on some guide pins. Just a little dissapointment.
