DUH. Finally, a waterproof toolbox. July 28, 2008 Teop Tnomrev (Vermont, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
It's about time. I've been looking and waiting for a durable, waterproof toolbox for years. I bought the Stanley and so far so good. It feels tough, bits won't poke through it and you can sit on it at lunch time. It's currently holding three drills, two batteries, charger, and an assortment of smaller boxes holding bits and drivers - plenty of room. When is the rest of this industry going to get a clue?
Handy January 28, 2008 CarswellDesigns.com (Boone, IA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This tool box is perfect if you organize your tools by task like me. I have mine set up as a painters supply box. It can fit a 9" roller frame and even my long handle trim roller frame. All of my brushes, caulk and gun, putty, goof-off(R) covers, etc. It is waterproof so I keep it in the back of my truck all of the time. Handy for a handyman.
Well Engineered Tool Box - Water Resistant Too! January 20, 2008 G. Lowitz (CA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a well engineered toolbox by Stanley. The case is substantial and holds a lot of gear. There's a water-resistant gasket that keeps out moisture and dirt. The latches are large and secure -- with options for a pad lock. It takes quite a bit of force to open/close the latches, but I prefer this to looser types. The internal removable tray is great for a level, hammer, and various hand tools -- it's about two-thirds the length of the tool box, leaving room adjacent for larger items. Loaded up with my tools, it's pretty heavy. The handle seems sturdy -- and I believe it will hold up to daily use.
Big Tool Box December 27, 2007 T. Andrews (Richmond, VA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This box has room for all of my small tools. It is sturdy and has a few extra features compared to a standard box. For the price, nothing beats it.
Great Toolbox November 26, 2007 Larrie S. (Indiana) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Wanted a nice toolbox to use on the ATV (Honda Rancher). This box is great for that. I simply bungie it on, and it's just the right size. Being water resistent is also a great bonus!d It holds plenty of tools and misc supplies for my ATV AT 1/3 the cost that ATV luggage costs!
