Product Description
A shining example of kitchen competence, this set includes everything you need for great cooking. The special multiclad construction bonds brilliantly polished 18/10 stainless steel to a core of pure aluminum for the fastest, most even heat distribution. Professional stainless covers with drip-free rims seal in flavors and nutrients, while the generously sized cool-grip handles provide handling safety. Limited lifetime warranty.

Amazon.com Review
Elegant and contemporary, the Multiclad Pro line from Cuisinart consists of deluxe cookware for the professional home chef. The exteriors of the 18/10 stainless steel pots and pans feature a handsome brushed finish, while the interiors are mirror-polished for non-reactive, quick release of foods. The tri-ply Heat Surround technology sandwiches an aluminum core in the base and side walls for superior, even heating. You'll also find solid cast stainless-steel handles that stay cool on the stovetop, tight-fitting stainless-steel lids, and drip-free pouring rims. Each piece is oven-safe to 500 degrees F, and the pans are safe for broiler-use, too.

This fabulous set consists of basics and more. The 1-1/2- and 3-quart saucepans with lids take care of everything from oatmeal to béchamel sauce, and the veggie steamer insert with its own lid fits the larger saucepan. Also included are 8- and 10-inch open skillets that turn out perfect grilled cheese, hamburgers, and crepes; 3-1/2-quart covered sauté pan with a helper handle, great for braising meats and cooking fish fillets; and an 8-quart covered stockpot for stews and soups. Dishwasher-safe, this set has no coatings to flake off or plastic to melt, and will surely be passed down to the next generation. Cuisinart covers the Multiclad Pro set with a lifetime limited warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

5 out of 5 stars Lovin' my new cookware   July 26, 2010

After 20 years of having the same pots and pans I thought it was time for something new. I'd used teflon coated P&P for years, but wanted to get away from teflon so after much research and asking my friends who cook a lot I finally settled on the Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Stainless Steel cookware and love it. It cleans up well not to mention cooking nice and evenly. I only have found one drawback and that is if you use the lids I highly recommend you gab a hot pad to remove it as the handle gets hot.

5 out of 5 stars Stainless steel pan convert forever   July 25, 2010

I have had these for a week and was eager to put them to the test. The skillet gave a perfect golden sear on fish and chicken breast fillets. The sturdy non-warp surface of the cookware gave my pancakes a perfect shape, not to mention a beautiful color. I agree with other reviewers that say to keep the surface well-oiled. I didn't have a cooking spray so I just added oil and made sure to swirl the pan around so the oil covered the surface well. They key is also not to flip the meat before that side is done; other reviewers are right when they say the done side will come off the surface when it's good to go.

I found the handles kept cool in large part, and only started to become hot after the pan was on the heat source for more than 20 minutes - even then, the outer extent of the handle remained cool.

I was concerned that the pans were too small; the skillets and the saute pans are just PERFECT for cooking for one or two, but buyers cooking for larger numbers on a regular basis have to upgrade to larger pans. I don't see myself using the saucepans and the stockpot much, so on hindsight I might have simply invested in two sizes of skillet and one saute pan. But they all look nice as a set! And the trustworthy amazon delivery and the price drop convinced me to get them as a graduation gift for myself. :)

I bought these pots and pans for my son and his wife for an anniversary gift. They love them and they are good quality. No burn spots. Easy clean up. Durable. I don't expect my son will ever need new pans again. They are good quality and you definately get what you pay for. These are worth every penny. My son loves to experiement in the kitchen and he and his wife are enjoying cooking trying new recipes with these quality pots and pans.

5 out of 5 stars excellent cookware   July 17, 2010

I bought this set on the advice of other reviews and am very pleased with its performance. It is beautiful to look at and has a great "feel" to it, solid and heavy but not too heavy to handle with food in it. It cooks even, heats quickly and is consistent. I have had no problems with cleaning (even made grilled cheese sandwiches). I intend to add additional pieces to my kitchen. Just remember, this doesn't cook like non-stick cookware, a little less forgiving. It is more "user demanding" as it heats quickly and make sure you put water in it right after you remove your food to make cleanup easy.

5 out of 5 stars Very, very happy!   July 11, 2010

I've cooked eggs, fried and scrambled, and the eggs did not stick. I've gotten a good sear on salmon fillets and chunks of stew meat. I've also made rice in the 1.5 qt pot with no boil over.

The handles stay cool, and are comfortable to handle.

Beautiful mirror finish inside the pans, smooth brushed finish on the outside. Clean-up very easy.
